The problem is that when you are buying supplements and treating yourself, you’re being set up for frustration. It’s very difficult to be objective about what is actually helping. Eventually, something else happens: pill fatigue.
I see it often in my practice. Patients bring in a bag of supplements and say, “I’m not even sure why I’m taking half of these anymore.”
