Mandy Harvey, CNTP
For many years I lived my life just “getting through” each day; taking care of others but never taking care of myself. During these years, I was often affected by low energy, depression, feeling “low” if I didn’t eat, poor sleep, anxiety, and stress which eventually led to a diagnosis of Hypothyroidism and LADA (Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adulthood). I was exhausted and tired of never feeling well. I knew I needed to change but wasn’t exactly sure how.
Through the help of some great functional practitioners and my own determination, I was eventually able to take control of my health through holistic diet and lifestyle changes. That journey changed my life as well as my purpose, and in 2016 I completed my certification as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) through the Nutritional Therapy Association. That training has prepared me to move into a career that I am passionate about and so deeply invested in.
I believe that we all have an innate willpower to choose, to do something, to take control, to take ownership of our lives. And when we choose to take control, we make better, more aligned choices. Putting us on the journey towards optimal health.
I am on a mission to help coach, educate, and support those suffering from chronic health issues, to choose themselves. To tap into their innate willpower and the innate wisdom of their body to make themselves and their health a priority so they can live with joy and love life!
This is your health, your life, your story! Why not make it a great one!
In health, Mandy
